CALIFORNIA!

Finally, the time has come to show you the california photos! There are many, so get excited. Here is Marin saying "yeah california!" Or better yet "yea Auntie em!" But probably actually "tada!"

For Easten's birthday, Micah stayed home. After he finished reading the riveting tale "CAT" (pun), he moved on to "You can count on monsters". Needless to say...it was an exciting day. Especially when Easten made micah tea and crumpets for his reading nook.

Sometimes Marin would crawl after Jude and then tackle him. Well cuddle/tackle. Okay, let's go with cuddle.

Jude escaping the cuddle sesh.

Moisturizing is KEY.

So excited to be with Auntie Easten and Auntie juh juh! But mostly with MARIN!

Carventures.

Car rides demand saltines. It is simply a MUST.

As you can tell, they are a hit all around.

GIVE ME SALTINES OR GIVE ME DEATH.

This was during the yelling phase, where the boys thought it was super hilarious when they would both yell as loud as they could at the same time. Something tells me that was not the last we will see of this phase.

Just one peep more, for giggles.

EVERYBODY WITH ME NOW.

Stop yelling. Be serious and give me your cracker.

Wha happen? I think that Briasson's face tells you what happened. How rude.

Life in a Box

Note: spilled milk on beer belly. Or milk belly. Whichever.

Life in a box is relaxing. Yoga helps to ensure this as fact.

Yoga helps to give you a toned booty- can't you tell?

For a while Jude was really into yelling. Actually, Jude and Briasson, with help from Jillian and I were all really into yelling together all at once. Jude was the only one that chose to do so with his eyes closed, however. One time we were in TJ Maxx or something and Briasson and Jude were sitting in a cart together and they both started yelling. Just for fun. At the top of their lungs. It was definitely a sight.

One quick yell for the road and we have it: classic bug.

Snack and Stories

Man does this boy have the life. First, he gets total freedom with his cheese puffs. And yes, he does abuse that. And yes, we do now need new carpet.

Savoring the flavor. "You can really taste it better if you try to minimize your other senses"

Oh great, cheese on my hands. That just won't do.

Now it is time to recline and enjoy a story. Read to me.

Forgive me if I snooze.

Jail

A glimpse into their future: trapped in jail together, but looking oh so innocent.

A mother can dream...

If you spill, you're dead meat. Snitches get stitches.

I will say nothing, I pwomise...

Freedom means one thing. Celebratory yoga!!!

Who wants to read me a book?

Mealtime is for Eating

One day Jillian and Briasson were over and I was feeding Jude breakfast. I was turned around talking to Jillian, and when I turned back around, this is what I found.

"If you could just keep feeding me, that would work out perfectly, thank you."

Later in the day it was time for a quick snack. Toilet paper. Nom nom.

Dinner was also (always) eventful with the bug. For some reason during this dinner he was putting his head down doing "sweet boy" and talking quietly. Or yelling. Honestly? I can't remember. But let's go with sweet boy so I'm still in the running for baby mama of the year.

So sweet. So buggy.

Outtakes

Though this isn't a Christmas photo shoot outtake, it is CLASSIC Briasson. What an odd fellow.

So sorry if you didn't get a Christmas card this year. So that is everyone but family, but at least you can enjoy some of the unedited outtakes.

This was a close second to the winner, I think you can see why.

Here's to hoping something is hiding under here.

Nothing? Lame. Happy new years, dummies.

Now THIS IS MORE LIKE IT.

I got all my friends.

Friends explosion!

The Game

This one time, Robert put this bag on Jude's head. Despite the fact that many of these types of "games" end up with a very upset pale little monkey, this one did not. He spent the better part of the following week putting the bag on his own head, then crawling as fast as he could.

Look how happy he is! As soon as he got it over his head, he would get the biggest smile. My judebug.

Away!

Dude, it's my turn.

Dude, don't touch the glasses.

When he didn't have his mesh bag around, Jude found other things to put on his head.

Jude's getting a jump start on his hard partying future. No pants, shirt on his head.
