Two Babies

It's hard to get a good picture of Jude playing this game because HE'S SO FAST AND GOOD AT IT. Just Kidding, well he is good at it, but I don't even think he's playing it in this picture.

Rawr. Cape.

Do they make little bras for moobs? Man boobs. Or I guess it would be baby boobs...which would be----boobs. Baboob. Whichever.

Hello, Casper. Aren't you such a friendly ghost.

Someone is raging in the background. And I don't mean rage in the way that all the college students, and recent college grads who think they are still in college are using the word rage to seem, or be, cool. Or even to seem like they still are cool even though they have a "big girl" job. Ew. I mean rage in a more literal, less alcoholic, way. The kind where Briasson literally takes all of his pent up rage out on things like...a hairbrush.

And now that it is all out, we are left with big fat rolls and junk toys.

Jude is nervous because he knows that there is someone who is full of rage behind him, peeking at this fuzzy head...waiting to attack.

WHO ME?!

Squash Sweeping

Whenever we bring home a butternut squash, it stays on the floor until it is time to eat it. Why, you may ask?

Because it happens to be on of Judebug's favorite fall toys.

Ah yes, squash and kosher salt. He knows how to prepare it well!

Did I mention he had a drink or eight before this meal? Can you tell?

WHAT? No, he didn't really. He doesn't like to be the butt of jokes...or jokes about his butt. I can't remember which one.

Since the squash caused such rude jokes, Jude thought he would just pout, and do a little house cleaning. He's still mad, I'm pretty sure.

The Incident

One day we left Briasson and Jude to play by themselves. They were having a grand ol' time until Jude started crying hysterically. When he went over, Briasson was taking a good ol' monch out of Jude's leg.

Literally, took skin out of it.

So we cleaned it up, and then took pictures of it. We are good good people.

Anyway, it was not a good day for the little bubby.

Hi, puff.

Point!

AND HERE IS THE CULPRIT. He looks like he's ready to attack, doesn't he? Rawr.

Helpin Out

Quick snap of a hap and breast pump valve. He's a lucky boy.

Briasson doesn't love the walker, but Jude thought maybe Briasson would enjoy it more if he moved a little bit. Briasson has a tendency to just hang out in it. Like a  bump on a log. Or maybe, I suppose, a bump in a walker.

Briasson is nervous. Jude says, "relax, man. This is going to be fun" Something tells me this exact situation is going to be happening a lot in their lives.

Look carefully and you can see that Jude has his concentrating face on, because he is just learning to walk with things like walkers, and pushing Briasson is something that is hard work. Especially when you wear footie jammies. Briasson is screaming. You can tell by his nosey. Isn't it so cute? Button nose.

Here you will see the problem with footies. Jude is doing the splits.

"YOU'VE GOT TO RELAX, MAN" Jude needs Briasson to be compliant.

Okay, sit down.

PINCE.

The Cool Thing to Do

The cool thing to do is

HANG OUT WITH YOUR PARENTS.

Listen, he's going to be homeschooled, so he's gotta get used to it.

Plus he won't know the difference between cool and awkward, most likely, so we are just going to teach him "cool" on this one.

No smiles for this serious playmate.

Although Dad could get one. Typical.

Robert has a tendency to drop food while he feeds Jude. Unfortunately, even if the food is a meat cup that smells like cat food...it still happens. Jude isn't thrilled about it.

BLAST FROM THE PAST.

And a blast from the cheeks! I just thought I'd throw this in for a little taste of Briasson. Anyway, don't those cheeks look good enough to eat?

Nothing New

What? Because playing in the nude is so special? It's just life. Just normal, everyday (when Dad is home to cause such trouble) life.

Robert really thinks it is just so cute for Jude to play naked for a few minutes before his bath. As you may see in a later post, I was justified in being worried, every day he does it... which is every day.

Besides, who has time to worry when they have to think about holding up a stomach like that?

Apparently he was also snacking. Life is messy. Whatever.

Outside Attire

When walking outside on chilly evenings, it is vital that one wears proper outside attire. Jude is not one to put fashion above sensibility. So here he is in his jammies, fox sweater, and hat.

Luckily in this case, fashion and common sense were hand in hand.

Just when you think life is boring, you find something high up to see.

And. It. Is. Amazing.

Bedhead

This is Jude. He loves to hang, read books and just relax. He's cool. I hope he gets to hang with you someday.

Sometimes he is mischievous. But you usually can tell by the smirk on his face.

He also has some amazing skills. He blows bubbles. Boom.

Sometimes he is greedy.

But he is greedy in the sweetest way :)

Hmph.

And despite what you may have heard about his lack of hair, he does indeed have some. And it's so long that he gets bedhead. So there.
