Jude smiled more than once a month during the time he was here visiting Mo-Mo. At least that was something Marin could do for him in between hitting him...

ReplyDeleteJude, as you can see, was created to balance out Briasson and to absorb into his alien and preternaturally unflappable consciousness all of Briasson's outward physical manifestations of inner emotions. And Jude does it all while fake-smiling with super cool hair.
Easten, there's a difference between Jude's natural smiling and his fake-smiling on command. His fake-smiling is almost as infrequent as his natural laughing, which is almost non-existent.
