Just joking. Those are two hiya sticks. For those select readers that happen to be 22 or 23 and don't yet have a kid. (So I'm assuming just a handful, obviously)...a hiya stick is basically any object that the boys hit other things with, and an object with which they are not allowed to hit other human beings or dogs. Though the latter part is not always respected. Anyway, it's fine, you get it.
I guess the thesis is: Jude wears puppy pants and therefore is a winner.

Smoosh. He's always coming up with new and inventive ideas for things. I think he's probably a genius. Can you tell? DO YOU KNOW A BABY THAT WOULD THINK TO SMOOSH HIS OWN FACE? I doubt it. DO YOU KNOW A BABY? Probably not. But that isn't the point.
