Jude is getting much stronger and is very good at holding his head up, so we put together his toy a little early. It took him a few days to get it, but he spends a lot of time in it every day now!
We think he is teething, also. He's been drooling and chewing on his bottom lip and some days being a little bit cranky, etc. One morning he was chewing on everything, even his bug book. He wanted to chew on it, though he wasn't sure how he felt about the taste...
It was no paci, and it didn't taste like milk.
But the boy does what he needs to do- he suffered through it
Jude is always so happy when he first wakes up. Here he is right after he woke up, relaxing in the big bed.
I can't believe he is using that toy already! I told Mom that next year your birthday probably won't be as busy with Jude because at this rate he will be driving so will likely be out cruising all over town...
ReplyDeleteEasten's right. Jude's eating the book today and will be reading it next month, just after he teaches Marin to walk.
ReplyDeleteI love his still sleepy morning eyes in the last photo. They're like that for five minutes until they pop open like dinner plates.
He too needs a chapeau like Marin's for when he assumes his jaunty pose like he's doing in the first photo.
